Waiting for the Light to Change … in the Meanwhile …

Ordinarily, a cloudy afternoon, in-and-of-itself, would not be a "reason" to avoid outdoor photography … for example, an interesting composition with not-so-interesting color, could be changed to black and white (grayscale), toned to sepia or some other single hue … or manipulated in any number of ways.

But it's autumn and I'm zoned in to fall foliage … and fall foliage photographs best when the sun shines and the leaves are photographed while situated between the lens and the sun (a.k.a. "backlighted) so as to have that "stained glass" (translucency magic).

So, here's an autumn shot (or more … depending whether or not the sun comes out).

I need to keep busy.
