First Offense … Make that "OF FENCE"
I almost never include human beings in my pictures … first of all, I'm not crazy about them generally … and second of all … well, let me leave it at "first of all" …
But there are times, when a man-made object appears in an otherwise image of "nature" -- it does add an element of interest.
And while I'm not crazy about people, there is something charming and rustic about an old wooden fence, especially when nature has begun to swallow it up; maybe that's because the 19th Century Romanticist in me likes to believe that Nature will once again dominate "humanity" before "humanity" destroys the planet.
Any way, philosophy aside … below is the first OF FENCE pictures I took yesterday.

Other OF FENCES to come.
No offense intended.
(I may try to do these in sepia tone)
I like the way the fence is leaning and the tree trunks to the left and right of it.
I'll be fencing my way through them today.

FOILed again!
Touche
Point well taken.
To me, photos that combine the natural and the man-made are quite interesting, but then I also feel that photos including people to be of interest as well. I have posted many of both over the years.
Fence Post … (Two) just added …
Get it? FENCE POST … get it, huh, get it, get it?
See … the fence has posts and …
Enjoy the pix … didn't mean to RAIL …
Get it … RAIL … get it …
Apologies in advance.
Looks like I'm playing de-FENCE … can't seem to make a good enough case to drive traffic over to this discussion.
The second photo with the sky made me think of that old song:
"Give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above. Don't fence me in."
Buzz,
Make sure if/when you sing that tune, that you maintain its proper gait.
"its proper gait" LOL
I like photos of old fences and bridges. Thanks again. And I think the sepia tone would be wonderful.
