A Path through the Woods in Autumn - I

All of the photos in the series depict scenes from along the same woods-path in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Autumn is not only about colors … but also about shapes, textures and clusters in nature as they become more conspicuous.

Not so sure about the first shot - nothing to focus on, but the others, a fence, a path, a bridge - those are more my style -  Combining the natural with man-made. Is the path a stream-bed?

 Is the path a stream-bed?

Part of it's an old railroad bed, other parts are deer trails and rural back road.

I wonder what bowed that tree with the bowed back--- think it got too much ice stuck to its 'head'?  So beautiful, so peaceful, just right!

Thanks for sharing these, dear friend.  I love you!  Big hugs

My article, A Path through the Woods in Autumn II, has disappeared along with other comments across the site! I intend to post it again, but, until it appears that the disappearing act is over, I'll go out and take more pictures and hold off on articles.

I love the way the trees form an arch for the bridge.

Very nice Mac!  The two trees in the fourth picture look like they're having a slap fight!
