Overnight Change in the Weather

Yesterday afternoon, I was fishing under a sunny sky and wearing a t-shirt (pants too); this morning (here in the Pocono Mountains), I looked out my bedroom window and saw this …

First off, I'm happy that you were wearing pants. A bit of modesty is a good thing.

Now that is a change in weather Mac..We experienced something similar. Friday is was in the 70, yesterday the high was 47..No snow though.

I beautiful photo, the first snowfall.

I love the snows that are wet enough to pile up on the branches!  What beauty!

We, too, had a huge change-- 76o on Thursday and 43o on Friday.  Thank heavens, I might add!  Even though I'm all a-pretzel with arthritis, I'm enjoying the cooler weather!  I could turn all the fans off, and delve into my winter wardrobe!  I'm so tired of my summer wardrobe!

Gorgeous picture!  Thanks for posting it!

Note:  If you get a follow request/Creative Arts request from Rockhound, that's my son!

We just have a ton of wind.  I started raking leaves yesterday when the weather was mild.  When I finished the front yard, the wind picked up an blew 1/3 of the pile back where it came from.  I said the hell with this, and left the leaf pile on the driveway.  The wind got so bad that the next time I looked out the window the entire pile was gone.  We ended up losing power for several hours, and cable/internet until today.

Tuesday ( 11/15) I took the bike out for a cruise , temps were mid 60s to low 70s, then this is what I woke up to Wednesday morning.(11/16)1118160730.jpg .about 17 degrees when the picture was taken.

Summer toys put away and winter toys now taken out and ready to go now.

Its that time of year AMac , I could still be riding in dec , and Jan depending on the weather patterns and where they go , so I keep both summer and winter toys ready for use in the winter , but I'm getting a hunch I wont be using the summer toys this winter.

The scene, although shot in color, was actually naturally black and white!

Really.
