Part II ~ Overnight Change in the Weather ~ After the iPhone Shot

Scenes and photo opportunities like this deserve better than just an iPhone rendition. This and others to follow taken with a Nikon D610.

When I look a photo like that the words that comes to my mind are "purification" and "peacefulness".

I have posted a second snow scene from yesterday morning.

Can you believe that this is an area that is proposed for the placement of 37, 525' tall wind turbines?

What could possibly go wrong?

Beautiful photo Mac and no, I can't believe they would want to wreck this beauty. It seems that no one cares about our environment.

Not when there is money to be made by destroying it...  I am sad to say!

All of these could be post cards!  They are lovely!

A. Mac, have you thought of sharing these scenes with your fellow protestors?  I mean, maybe they could be used to drum up more support!  thumbs up

I have already done that; those who would be affected know the beauty and potential tragedy first-hand. But the legal fees mount and the deep pocket company counts on capitulation of the homeowners' not-so-deep pockets.

I understand completely!  I wish I could help, dear friend...  I just wish I could help.

I know you would but there is no matching the corporate money … recently, one of the wind turbines in a county just north of the proposed site we're fighting, caught fire. Close to home, literally.

That is scary!

It gives one an 'end of the world' feeling...

My Grandma had a painting of the windmills of Holland burning when the Spanish invaded.  The Dutch people fired the windmills, so that they would stop pumping the water out from behind the dykes, and it would flood-- flooding the Spaniards out.  Anyway, I can't find that picture, no matter what I google, but I bet it looked like that.  SCARY!
