Any time it is snowing, look for me outside with my camera.

I like the challenge and am occasionally rewarded.

Thanks, Uppy, I took several shots and that head tilt was the tie-breaker.

What a great photo, Mac.

The Morning Dove looks like he's saying, ''hey, what's up with you.''

Depending on where in the photo they are and how much of the image they occupy, the photo might be digitally "saved".

So beautiful!  Thank you for this-- it is interesting, peaceful, and truly beautiful!

I think the dove is curious...  What's UP with all y'all?

Mine, too, dear Nona!  Thinking about you and your uncle...  My favorite uncle died in 1967, and I still miss him.  Uncle Louie had a great influence on my life...

Thank you Dowser, He has always been my fave, and I had always wished that he and his  wife had been my parents.

He has mourned for  her since the day she Passed, and wants to be with her again.

That will make it easier for you to accept, and for him to go to her.  It is still a horrible situation, no matter how you look at it...  Much love to you, dear Nona!

Both are fantastic, but I think I like the Morning Dove just a little bit better, because he/she looks like it has a bit of attitude to it. Like Kavika said.

Great shots MAC!  Do you ever take pictures of owls?

Owl let you know when I do, PJ.

I may have one or two … I'll check my data base.

In the meantime … one more from today.

Very nice Amac ! the one in flight is great. I hope you try for more close shots of birds in flight, probably very challenging.

I hope you try for more close shots of birds in flight, probably very challenging.

Particularly the small birds; in order to fill a good portion of a frame, it's necessary to get close … but if you get too close, you won't see them fly into the frame until they've zipped past.

But, I'm determined.
