Anonymity. Even though people may no many things about you, especially if you are on a site like NT for a long time, I think most people realize that in many cases of people who say they hate you or are nasty to you are really just a collection of pixels on a screen that you can turn off at any time and make them go away. Unfortunately some people get online and become keyboard warriors simply because they feel safe behind their computer. But they sometimes get angry to the point of even threatening others, which I can't understand? I mean what are they going to do? Reach through their screen and somehow their fist will come out of yours and punch you? I laugh when people are "mean" to me or "insult" me, because it is meaningless because they are coming from people I have no respect for in the first place and who I can make go away just by pushing a button.
BTW, your new hat is stunning. Is it pine or spruce?
Here is my newest turban (we've been wearing them for hundreds) I do have some concerns about being mistaken for a Mooslim. That's why I always pack some heat.
Biological Needs Hierarchy: Along with the need for food, warmth, sleep, sex . . . Homo Saoiens seems to have a strong need for "being right".
