We have a palm tree in my hometown of Owensboro. It is owned by a doctor, who sets up a mini-green house around it every winter, to keep it warm and healthy. It's beautiful!!!
New posting; I have posted a picture of the Basilique, Notre Dame before, but it is so extraordinarily beautiful, that when I visited, I could not help but take a lot of similar shots.
More to come.
Dear Friend AMac: Please keep them coming.
E.
Will do; I am guilty of getting caught up in the political stuff to the point where I forget temporarily, my passion for photography and art.
I must do better.
Guilty as charged...Here comes da judge.
Beautiful
Great photo taken at a very picturesque location. Do you know that Victoria is the only place in Canada where Palm trees grow outside?
As a rule of thumb, I thought Palms only grew out of doors.
I give you a hand for sharing that info in the digit-al age.
I specifically said "outdoors" in order to make sure you didn't think I meant this:

I'd love to go to Victoria.....I'm headed to Winnipeg in June.....a bit less picturesque from what I've been told......
Great pictures!
I'm trying to leave the FP and post more Canada pix.
Soon I hope.
Please feel free to post to the Good News Wednesday Group also. I believe these more than fit the meaning of the group.
Comin' right up, Spike.
I hate to discourage you, but you're right about Winnipeg, in fact it's a LOT less picturesque. My late father used to call it the asshole of Canada.
Beautiful picture of the harbor! I'd love to eat lunch, right where you are standing! What a great view!

More to come … Vancouver, Victoria, B.C. …
Really lovely photos, Mac. Love Notre Dame. I've seen it, and you captured it well!
Back in the day when I actually worked for a living I had to go to Victoria quite often. There are two way of getting there. Ferry or seaplane.
I always chose the seaplane. Quick, but coming into the harbor was always a thrill.
Wow! That looks like fun!!!
Got to give your picture its props, Kavika …
… so to speak.
Got to give your picture its props, Kavika …
GROAN lol.
Just after landing we were on the skids.
I'm going to let that slide.
Nice pictures Mac. The colors 'pop'.
