Al Qaeda was founded in 1988. 15 years before the Iraq invasion. Which was efore the Iraq War.
In recent times ISIS ..has most notably attacked France. Who didn't fight in the Iraq War.
Then we can think of the attempted genocide of the Yazidis....the Yazidis, of course, played no role in the Iraq War.
It is clear that Islamism was attacking PEOPLE before the Iraq War....
