a great road to walk, maybe with a dog as a companion......
To the right of the path is a slow-flowing stream; the further down the path one goes, the stream meanders to the right (the North) and the path splits, paralleling the stream to the north for many miles, and, to the south, up over a steep hill … then winds back to the path as you see it in the photo.
I have a lot of images of the meadow, the stream and views along the path; but, I will re-photograph all or most of them with my new wide angle lens (the picture above was taken with that lens).
Heading to the mountains tomorrow and the lens will be going with me.
Speaking of "Walking into the light," I posted another … but in order to walk into this light, you'll need to walk up a steep meadow along a forest edge.
As I've said before about your photos, A.Mac, I've run out of superlatives. I am glad to see that in some you now include something man-made to contrast with that which is natural.
Tomorrow … first time in the mountains with the new ultra-wide lens.
It's not just my camera toys that generate the anticipation and joy preceding every excursion, many miles up or down the road, or, just out to the yard to see if any new flowers, butterflies or birds have shown up since my last time out … all the way back some 45 minutes ago!
Nor is it just being there.
It's looking at what may seem to many people a near-chaotic profusion of leaves and stems and bugs and critters and skies and clouds … all that have apparently gathered at random … never again to be identically re-configured … AND LOCATING … ISOLATING … A THROUGH-THE-LENS PIECE OF IT ALL …
… and hearing the CLICK-CLICK-CLICK that may generate and preserve its image for all time!
I am not religious; but I know when I am walking on, what the Yaqui Indians (and possibly others) refer to as "A PATH WITH A HEART."
God, Nature, The Cosmos … these create the beauty to be found.
Walk with me my friends … and those among my detractors who might consider doing so.
That looks like a great road to walk, maybe with a dog as a companion......

A country road for all to travel. Lovely pic Mac.
Beautiful picture, dear A. Mac! It draws you in-- and you know there is more beauty to dome!
Thanks for posting this!
More to come.
A road less traveled.
Great photo Mac.

Well-worth the effort however.
Love the photo....

I just take pictures.
Peace to all.
Off to the mountain ... Projected weather ... Mid 70's during the day, mid 50's at night.
Photos and fishing and family!
Lucky man I am.
Just returning home; I took a lot of pictures but haven't looked at them on my computer yet. If there's anything worth sharing I will post them.
Having been following your photography for years now, I'm sure that there are bound to be many that are worth sharing.
Ditto
I appreciate the votes of confidence and hope not to underwhelm.
