Remote and Quiet Beauty

One of my favorite places to find perspective and peace.

For anyone who has never spent time in places like this … I wish I could take you to with me on my next walk in.

Brother, I would gladly hobble my way to such a place with you.....

Alas, I will be unable to get there very often anymore....

NWM,

It has been far too long between our conversations and civil discourse even in times of disagreement.

Please continue to join in.

Where ever you go in the Ozarks you'll find waterfalls. Some large, some medium, some small. And then you'll find ones like this, just appearing out of a rock.

My kind of place, Kavika.

Hopefully one day I'll get back your way and we'll catch big trout fly fishing in the White River and Dogwood Canyon (is that that place)?

The photos are beautiful.  We had a weekend farm with a 10 acres lake that was fed by springs.  Gee, I loved that place and developed my passion for bass fishing.  In December the robins would do their migration south and stop at our place for a bath, food and rest.  I was fishing this particular time when I felt movement behind me.  I turned around and there were three deer.  Awesome experiences.

Another thought. It is about time, I think, for another Neetu/AMac collaboration. I am still in AK. Have I missed any recent ones?

Neetu posted one recently … I have been too busy to create a worthy image … although a few minutes ago I sent her one … not sure it will meet her expectations however. We will see.
