CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cleveland Indians fans won $2 million worth of free window products and services Thursday night in a wild promotion that came to fruition when the Tribe won their 15 th straight game. Watch the energy and pandemonium in the video above as a number of lucky customers and representatives from Universal Windows Direct gathered at Progressive Field for a watch party as the Indians played the White Sox in Chicago.
At stake: If the Indians could win 15 consecutive games after Aug. 1, anyone buying work from the Cleveland-based company in July would get it done for free. Orders totaled $2 million and some 260-plus customers. Universal Windows Direct management was all smiles Thursday too, as the company took out an insurance policy. Thursday night's win also set the franchise record for consecutive wins. The Indians will go for their 16 th straight Friday night at home against Baltimore.
