Signs from loved ones that have passed on.
Has anyone ever experienced a sign from a loved one that had passed away?
I have had some times when I just knew they were trying to send me something to let me know they are with me.
When my mother passed away, my sister would see butterflies a lot when she would think about my mother. Now I seem to see them at least everyday since my sister has been gone. Not real ones always, but books, stores, on clothing just anywhere.
Today is my Birthday, so I have seen 3 so far in a book I was looking at.
Plus many more, that I will get into later.

OK, I'll play.
A few years ago I had a very vivid dream. In it my Grandfather whom I never met was playing a piano and repeating a 4 digit number over and over again like he was singing. I rarely remember my dreams but when I woke in the morning, I remembered every detail of this one.
Had I been a gambler, like my Grandfather was, I would have played that number. It came in that night in the exact order he was singing it in.
A sign? A coincidence? A good Twilight Zone plot? You be the judge. lol
I have only felt something like this one time.
My brother drowned in 1979. A couple days later I awoke in the middle of the night and felt a presence in the room. Without actually hearing words , I experienced him telling me "everything is ok". It was eerie.
I have known many people who have died since, but never had that particular feeling again.
I think Trump is haunting you.
Last I heard, he's not dead.

My father passed when I was very young, only 13 years old. I have never actually had a sign, but I always had strong feelings that he was by my side. Very strong! I knew he was there close by, the feelings would just come out of nowhere. The feelings stayed with me for almost 40 years and then it suddenly just stopped.
Sometimes I think my cat is my ex-husband reincarnated. He suddenly passed away in 2011. I must be sensitive to paranormal activities or something.
I also swear I saw a spirit, it was just like a white cloud moving. It was small and seemed feminine to me although there were no features. I felt like it was a little girl. Didn't scare me. Actually I felt intrigued by it. Never saw her again.

As some know, my father recently passed, on Friday night I was alone at the lake house and had a fire going in the soap stone stove. Around 11 p.m., the ash drawer dropped open all by itself, now dad always tended the stove. I'm pretty sure I secured it, but then again, I might not have, or dad didn't think my fire had enough draft.
On Sunday, my nephew and I were in one of the outbuildings looking for the nails with grommets on them we use to hang a trap on the 'snowy' end of the porch. We found all kinds of stuff, but no luck, after half an hour or so, I picked up a chunk of wood, turns out it was my dad's old cut off chunk of tree about 6 inches tall, cut flat on the bottom, with the remains of a branch about 18 inches up, again cut flat, Stephen and I both looked at it, and realized it was dad's old drink stand he used to have next to his chair in the house. I set it up on a table, Stephen put his beer on it and we both said Cheers to my dad. I looked down and where I had picked it up from, and lo and behold, there were the nails with the grommets. Stephen and I both looked at each other and smiled knowing Dad was giving us a hand.
I have often made the comment that I know for a fact that there is an afterlife. It is energy of ourselves when we leave the physical world. Here is one of my stories.
My precious sister died from cancer six years ago. Drove out to CA to be with her the last three months of her life. It was tough and I kept the grief bottled up. What was I going to do without her?
Drove back home and for two weeks, I dreamed of her every night. Always happy dreams which included our family members who had died, also.
I was sitting at my computer around six in the evening typing an email to my niece. The next thing I knew, I was screaming....let me die, I want to die. Then, firecrackers went off in my head followed by a black space with an oval shaped ivory colored object. I went off to sleep.
The next morning my husband said he heard a thump the night before and went into the living room and found me on the floor. I had passed out. He carried me into the bedroom.
My computer was still on and here is what I found.

I know that was how she found a way to communicate with me.
My dreams stopped.
There have been other signs, but will leave that for another day.
I have indeed not only felt their presence, but, often hear their voice. Their Spirit most often visit during the night when my mind is more clear. I hear my Son calling me "Mom" on many occasions, as well as my Daughter. When this happens I know that they are still with me in Spirit and doing well. I also hear my Father reminding me to follow the right path of our Cherokee ancestors when he says, "Sister, (his pet name for me) remember to let them lead."
My Mother was not only my Mother, but, also my best Friend. She had a lot of silly saying that always made me laugh. I still hear them when I am doing something and she will pop in and add one of her funny sayings and I can't help but crack up and everyone else looks at me like I just lost one of my mental cylinders.
They are always there with me, even if they are no longer here in the flesh. And that makes me very happy to know they are well.
