Stranger Leaves Helpful Note For Driver Who Left His Lights On

Stranger Leaves Helpful Note For Driver Who Left His Lights On

A man who left the lights on his car on came back to something of a surprise.

Derek Murray says he accidentally left his lights on, and upon returning to his vehicle, he noticed a note that let him know of the mistake.

The anonymous author told Murray he was unable to access the inside of the vehicle to turn them off, so instead of just leaving it alone, he left an extension cord, battery charger, and detailed instructions on how to recharge the battery.

I left a blue extension cord on the fence and a battery charger in the cardboard box, the note reads in part. If you know how to hook it up, use it to start your car.

Murray, a student in Alberta, Canada, was so blown away by the strangers kindness that he decided to post a picture of the note to Facebook, where it went viral.

It just shows you how such a pure act of kindness from one person can just spread through everyone and help make everyones day a little brighter, Murray said, according to Metro UK.

Reports note a local business offered the stranger two free tickets to a hockey game for his kind act, and Murray hopes the tickets will lead to a meeting between the two.

Such a lovely thing to do. Anonymous acts of random kindness, especially when the recipient wants to share it with others, makes everyonefeel good.

Thanks, Nona!

Do unto others and you would have them do unto you!

What a great neighbor this person would make and a great mentor to young people!

Nona

Just think if all of us did little things like this for others, what a better place our neighborhoods, towns, states and country would be

It goes to show you - goodness and fairness starts with each of us

you know, the simple acts of everyday kindness give us faith to go on with our lives... We're not alone, we have each other. Sometimes, it takes something like this to make us realize it!
