Dedications – from my home to you – Part 1

Dedications from my home to you Part 1

These are all photos taken inside my home. There are in totally random order and so is no indication of how I feel about any of you, although the item may well be, and I apologize to those I may have left out entirely. Because of the number of photos, this is divided into three different articles.

Dedicated to Raven Wing my book of Escher, a fantastic graphic artist to compliment a great graphic artist.

1819_discussions.jpg

Dedicated to Perrie my wifes Buddhist statue of GuanShiYin, Goddess of Mercy and Compassion. A perfect dedication.

1820_discussions.jpg Dedicated to Badfish my brass frog, the closest thing I had to a fish. The frog stands for prosperity in Chinese mythology, and is also significant to American Indians.

1821_discussions.jpg

Dedicated to A.Mac my singing bird clap your hands and it starts to sing. Just in case you havent seen enough birds lately.

1822_discussions.jpg Dedicated to Jonathan P a genuine (not western style) Chinese meal prepared by my wife as the deli waitress would say - Try it, youll like it.

1823_discussions.jpg Dedicated to Nona an insert of tiles on the wall resembling a Maxfield Parrish print. In Canada I had two large originally framed antique Maxfield Parrish prints hanging in the dining room, which are now in the possession of my first wife.

1824_discussions.jpg

Dedicated to Dowser sustenance - a five-gallon natural drinking water jug on my cooler I never drink the tap water here.

1825_discussions.jpg

Dedicated to Kavika a warrior plaque that keeps the evil spirits away from my home as an Ojibwe, Kavika is aware of the significance of such an object.

The only thing in those photos that I brought from Canada was my Escher book.

No Buzz, you brought a lot more than you Escher book. You brought talent, humanity, passion, and friendship.

There are vegetables here I've never even heard of in Canada, and my wife, who grew up on a farm, is an incredible cook. She can go into a wild field and in 20 minutes come back with a whole meal of edible greens, flowers, buds, etc.
