Wasn't too keen on the Andy Griffith show but loved him in Gomer Pyle.

Totally agree.. I remember watching that show then....hearing him sing, for the first time... "WTF???!!!!!" LOL

I know that he recorded over 28 albums, but this song is the one that will forever stick out in my mind as to what an immense talent he was.  RIP Sir.  You sing with the angels now.
