Your Daily Dose of Disney
I continue to cull my data base of older Walt Disney World images, this, in anticipation of re-taking same-subject shots with upgraded cameras and lenses.
Some of those I plan to replace are candidates for re-makes via implementing some creative changes.

Enjoy the vicarious tour!
Yet another series of magnificent photography. One day you're bound to be added to my articles on Famous Photographers.
That is way too kind, Buzz ... but I thank you profusely.
The anticipation of your trip is killing you isn't it?
The anticipation of your trip is killing you isn't it?
But what a way to go!
Actually, if we count last Christmas (2016) and this past August (2017), this Christmas will be the third visit in the span of a year.
Mostly, what I do at WDW, is look for new angles (literally) to photograph subjects I've photographed many times before; but the real joy is being there with my family … especially with my grandchildren who are now in their teens.
I know that any day I'll turn around and they'll be in college and the trips to WDW will be things-in-the-past. So, as long as the tradition and the new memories are part of my life, I'll go down that road.
For the record, my son-in-law takes the family pictures (in some of which I allow myself to appear … although for me, it's on the wrong side of the lens), and we usually get a posed family picture like millions of others have done on Main Street USA with the Castle in the background.
I know I can be a real pain-in-the-ass in the NT political threads (as I was QUITE EFFECTIVELY in my career), but in perspective, I know my life has been blessed and the "ME" I am when I drop the hard facade, is the Disney World ME, the fly fisherman ME, the guy with the camera along some mountain stream … and a proud grandfather my grandkids refer to affectionately as "DUDE!"*
* Which is a story for another day.
Once the kids are out, doesn't mean you have to stop going. I'm sure there are things that you and your wife hold special there. Go for those reasons.
Also when the kids leave for college, that means you and your wife can make other trips. You mentioned having the castle in the background of your pics, why not go to the actual castle the Disney Castle is modeled after, Nueschwanstein Castle in Bavaria Germany? My wife LOVES Disney. When I was stationed in Germany I took her there. It is amazing. While there, you could make the trip over to Disney Land in Paris.
Just a few suggestions. Enjoy your trip.
Thank you … wisdom, common sense and your good wishes are appreciated.
Have you started the countdown yet Mac?
TEN Days!
Second pic posted.
Dragon in a third picture, by George!
Epcot fireworks! We got selected for a "magical moment" and were down on the utility boat docks during the fireworks!
Thank you for adding this to the article! It is much appreciated!
Fireworks at EPCOT it is … a fourth photo.
Very nice pics as always, I hope you and yours enjoy this trip as much or more than the previous ones!

Many thanks for that, Spike; the older I get, the more conscious I am regarding the passage of time … so, each trip becomes more-and-more appreciated and valued.
Picture 5) is "digital art" … a composite of two images, the foreground of which is from Disney's Tomorrowland, the background, a replacement sky … a NASA image …
See you all tomorrow … thank you for coming bye.
