Thanks again for posting your photos of beautiful birds, so many of which I have missed since leaving Canada (especially Blue Jays, LOL). In China, the only time I saw birds with any colour was a peacock in an aviary.
I have to agree with Buzz, love your bird shots Mac. I have used your pics as references when birding even! Some of the species you've featured are slightly different than ones I commonly see around here.
Was out all day yesterday, marking snowmobile trails with a group form my club-didn't see any birds, though we saw some field mice moving around! I'll have to keep watch next time around. The pictures are wonderful!
There are three American Holly Trees in my back yard with many thousands of berries that keep the Robins and Blue Jays happy and filled through much of the winter.
Beautiful! You know I love birds. I wanted to go out and get some shots like these over the weekend, but I've been recuperating from a case of Strep Throat.
Amazing shots. Birds are one of my favorite things to photograph. There haven't been very many in the last few years, so your beautiful shots are a real treat for me.. Thanks!!
I'll go out in a snow storm to get pictures of birds … I think the results can be worth the effort.
Truly awesome photos, Mac. You really capture them at their best.
It takes a special eye does it not?
Indeed it does! And Mac seems to have a special eye with his camera. His photos are always amazing.
Agreed!
Anyone can take a picture but you are indeed a true artist with a camera. Beautiful shots.
That is the kindest of compliments and I sincerely thank you, Paula.
You are very welcome. I plan to enjoy your artistry for a very long time here.
The results were well worth the effort, Mac.
We have numerous Cardinals around our area and some Mornings Doves as well.
I haven't seen many Junco's though.

I appreciate the kind words … thank you my friends.
You take the best birds Mac... second to none! Beautiful

Photo 5) is posted … and may be a bit surprising to some.
Not THAT surprised. I did sometimes, but rarely, see Robins bearing out the winter in Ontario.

Recover fully first … then get the photos.
Thanks. I'm starting to feel better today. I'll be doing some bird stalking this weekend. In other news my calendars have come in.
If you have digital files, can you post some images from your calendar?
I have all the files as jpegs. I'll do a new article in Arts Group in a bit.
Looking forward to it!
