An Alabama judge denied an election complaint from Roy Moore on Thursday, moments before the state was due to certify the victory of Democrat Doug Jones.
Moore filed an election complaint on Wednesday, alleging potential voter fraud in Alabama's special election and urged a delay in certifying the results.
Alabama Circuit Judge Johnny Hardwick denied Moore's attempt to halt the certification of the results from the special election held on December 12 for the vacant Senate seat in Alabama.
Moore, a Republican, has refused to concede after losing the Senate race on December 12 to Jones by more than 20,000 votes.
