Israel Reunites Palestinian Girl with Mother After Father Abandons Her

Thanks to Israel’s caring police, a Palestinian girl was reunited with her mother in Gaza after being abandoned by her father in Israel.

A young Palestinian girl who was abandoned by her father at a hospital in Israel was reunited with her mother in Gaza, thanks to caring Israeli police officers.
The seven-year-old girl was found abandoned after receiving treatment at a hospital in Jerusalem. Her father abandoned her as they were on their way back to Gaza.
The Israeli Walla news site reported Monday that he ran away from the cab ride back to the Strip.
Police, who were alerted to the scene, calmed her down, and then fed her and cared for her at the station.
Israeli forces launched a search for the father and subsequently found and arrested him in the center of the country.
Simultaneously, Israeli authorities tracked down the girl’s mother in Gaza and reunited the family at the Erez crossing into Gaza.
This episode is yet another example of Israel providing Palestinians with social services and medical treatment . Israeli hospitals and medical teams have a long track record of treating Palestinian patients, in many cases free of charge.
IDF medical teams and Israeli civilian emergency units from communities in Judea and Samaria regularly treat local Arabs, often after car accidents, for a broad array of ailments and injuries. Walking to an IDF checkpoint or to the front gate of an Israeli community for medical treatment is common practice among Arabs living in the Palestinian Authority-administered territories. During some months, Israeli medics treat more Palestinians than Israelis.

Next time I'm in Israel, I'm going to tell that policewoman that I've been abandoned by my parents, so maybe I can get some TLC like the little girl is getting.

To those who say Israel is committing genocide in Palestine I say once again that they're doing a real crappy job of it.
I've already been accused of robbing the cradle - my wife is 26 years younger than me. LOL
Always better to rob the cradle than rob the grave Buzz. Just compare that lovely, sweet tempered young lady to your ex wife; you know, the woman who has your house, your car and all your money. I think that, on the second marriage, you hit the jackpot. Kinda takes the edge off the first one, doesn't it.
I rarely ever think about the first one any more.
But tell me, is there anyone who would NOT want to be hugged by that gorgeous (young) policewoman?
Well maybe a hug but anything beyond that would be getting creepy for me.
I have no such concern. At my age, a hug is about as far as I can go. LOL
