Got as far as Stevie Wonder and began to suspect that these were all recently created instead of being authentic. I did wonder about asthma cigarettes not being recommended for kids under age 6 - hey, get your 6 or 7 year old to start to smoke?

I'm pretty sure the Arthur Godfrey cigarette ad is genuine.

Agreed, it does appear genuine.

It is funny that there was a time when ashtray breath was considered "fresh".

My dad told me when he was an Army Draftee in the mid-50s, the Army field meal of choice, the 'C' Ration, included a mini pack of cigarettes in it......the military is pretty much an anti-smoking establishment now.

Maybe in the last 10 years.  My son started smoking in the Army so he could get cigarette breaks, it was the only way to get the break.

I feel sorry for his lack of judgement in trying to get breaks'.  A habit like that, once established takes a lot to break, plus the added $$$ cost (plus the added cost to his health)....even on Military Installations, smokes are not 'dirt cheap' anymore (they were like $2 a carton when I was stationed on Okinawa, way back when).  We used to have a bunch of smokers here at my office on base-now there is only 1 person left that smokes.  I've been clean for 10 years in October.
