NASA’s Mars Rover Curiosity Sends Home Spectacular Panorama

From Sci-News.com

A new panoramic image from Curiosity provides a sweeping vista of the interior and rim of Gale Crater, including much of the rover’s route during its first five-and-a-half years on Mars and features up to about 50 miles (85 km) away.

The view from ‘Vera Rubin Ridge’ on the north flank of Mount Sharp encompasses much of the 11-mile (18-km) route the rover has driven from its 2012 landing site, all inside Gale Crater.

Landscape and sky from an alien world. Simply amazing.

I love these panoramic views of Mars.

Yet we have people on Earth who insist our planet is flat.   Imagine all the science these people ignore as 'conspiracy'.   Another argument for encouraging critical thinking - especially in the USA.

I used to think the whole Flat Earth thing was a joke. I still have a hard time accepting that some people are indeed serious about it. It's ridiculous. I just don't understand how some people's minds work (or fail to work, as the case may be).

There is another segment of video that shows some curious things, one thing I noticed in those pictures was something that looked like a locking mechanism, if there wasn't life on Mars at one time, how did it get there?

By the way Buzz, I love this stuff, thanx.

I wouldn't mind taking a look at that. Could you provide a link?
