Is Bill Gates a Democrat or Republican?
You will find most of the super-billionaire types are in fact **Democrats** ,or, big Dem donors. Besides Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Larry Ellison are Democrats too (there's your TOP 3 US billionaires right there.) Then there's Zuckerberg, and Bezos is a known donor to the Dem party.
Billionaires are in fact less likely to be Republican, even less likely to be Trump supporters, and virtually none would be Libertarian.
If you're a young Millennial, think: what does this tell you about the **reality** of politics in the US today, not what your professors are telling you about big capitalists, or, who really supports the "little guy"?--when virtually every source confirms 75% or so of the US' billionaries are **Democrats.** Like they say, if you want to k
now why things work the way they work in criminal investigations or in politics: follow the money. And, a lot of these billionaires are what we over here on the right would call, "one world-er" types. They believe in big, global, top-down solutions for the world's problems and see themselves at the top of said organziations, running and driving those efforts, of course. That kind of thinking plays much better among the Democrats , than among Republicans or Libertarians.
I think most of this is probably mostly true. Buffett was originally a Republican. I'm not sure, but I think Gates originally was as well.

Bill and Melinda Gates:
Parents all over the world do their best to give their children great opportunities. They work to give their children every chance to pursue their own dreams.
However for too many parents, their dreams of giving their families better lives are dashed.... (cont'd)
Warren Buffet:
My Philanthropic Pledge
In 2006, I made a commitment to gradually give all of my Berkshire Hathaway stock to philanthropic foundations. I couldn’t be happier with that decision. . . (Read it all)
There was a special a few years ago featuring Warren Buffett and his ''Giving Pledge''...There were around 10 of the world richest there. To be a member you had to be worth at least one Billion dollars and had to pledge to give half of it away.
At one point Buffett said that he was recruiting more members and one line that he used when asking others to join was, ''Oh you can get by on half a billion''...LOL
