One of the characteristics of art is that it is outrageously pointless.

I don' think I can call it pointless because he's using engineering design and natural power like the wind to move his art over the sand. At first, I didn't know what to think, because I didn't know what it was, but then it was hard to take my eyes off of the video.

Totally cool Bob.  Reminds me of a centipede.  Once heard an old story that said that a centipede was asked how it managed 100 legs, stopped to think about it......and could never walk again.
