I saw the whole interview on 60 minutes and on Maddow and it seems that what it comes down to is an impotent attempt by the GOP members of the House Intelligence Committee to whip up things, charges, against Comey that simply are not there. The memos speak for themselves and there certainly is no indication at all of any wrong doing by Director Comey in them whatsoever. None. If people do not believe what is said in them then it is a credibility question of who do you belive, Comey or Trump and considering Trump's documented record of telling several lies a day and thousands since he has been sworn in, it would seem that his lack of credibility is biting him here and that Comey is the one to be believed, especially since these memos were written contemporaneously and were sent to other senior members of the FBI by email make sure that others knew of these conversation and that he himself kept copies to keep his memories fresh.
What is also evident in the conversations with Comey is, his story doesn't change, as we know a liar can't keep the story straight over a long period of time, something Trump has trouble doing along with his White House staff. Comey has been consistent in his story of what was said by Trump.

I guess we will find out, won't we? Just like we were waiting to see what the IG would say when his report came out.

I think what happened to McCabe is wrong but, that being said, no matter the results of what ever little investigation comes of it, McCabe's reputation is ruined, Trump got what he wanted out of that little thing.
What I did find interesting in the Maddow interview was Comey's confirmation that it wasn't the dossier which prompted the Carter Page stakeout, it was the fact that Page was bragging about knowing Russian spy's that started the investigation into Page and, then continued when he joined the Trump campaign. In other words, Page was under investigation while he was part of the Trump campaign so, what Page did for the campaign came under investigation as well.
It's very different from what the rumors are.
