Den Mates …

I "softened" these Fox Kit pix to emphasize their "innocent," "vulnerable" personas at their early stage of life.

Their genetics and lessons from their parents will make them cunning and efficient predators …

… but will they be spared from the actions of "civilization?"

I've been seeing these as you post them on twitter. They are so cute I can't stand it.

Totally cute little guys Mac.  Of course the local rabbits might have a different opinion.

I can just see the committee meeting.

Moderator:  All right, all those in favor of putting bells on the fox family so that we can hear them coming, please raise your paw.  Very well, it's unanimous. We bell the foxes.  Now, we need a volunteer to hang the bells around their necks, right behind the teeth.  HEY, WHERE DID EVERYBODY GO????

I did not see the kits or parents today although I checked throughout the day. I have some fox/kit pix I haven't yet posted and will do so tomorrow.

They really do act like cats, while looking more canine.  Loving the photos!
