Enlightening … hopefully.
That's pretty dang cool; great effect. There is a beautiful eeriness to it.
:~)
A very kind comment; many thanks.
That's a beauty Mac....
By the way, I will soon be sending you photos from the museum we visited out your way … I know it's been a while … but they'll get to you in a week or so.
I'll probably send them via e-mail.
Looking forward to getting them Mac.
Trying to send one now via your personal e-mail … give it a minute or two.
Just sent two pictures; let me know if they are o.k. .
I'm experimenting with several techniques and I'm hoping they will work together in the way that this one seems to have worked; butterflies and possibly flowers … maybe even birds will work.
Great application of technique. I have no reasonably applicable photos of butterflies or birds, but I could do some interesting things with flowers.
Go for it, Buzz!
Okay, I'll give it a shot. First some edited flower photos.

5. I DID find a butterfly in my photo collection.
6. And some birds as well.
Nice variety of subjects and effects … keep experimenting and sharing these.
Now that you've posted a new article with flowers, I guess these were put on the wrong article.
One more Luminous Lepidoptera … now there are two.
The first one is superb, but the second is an absolutely fantastic work of art.
Very well done, Mac. Lots of definition, bright, vibrant colors, and the subjects are truly beautiful. I really like this style.
Third image posted …
… and I wish you all good night.
Running out of superlatives....what more can I say?
Those butterflies look like they belong in a fairytale. Just beautiful and dreamlike.
That was my first thought too.
