A Darn Lucky One Hour of Nature Photography
Took a one hour break from working in the garden yesterday before dinner, and, went to the woodland stream that runs through my part of Philly.
Using my 200-500mm lens and Nikon 500D camera, I got a good number of shots …

Ah man, they are just too cute.
Beautiful shots Mac. Little fuzzies are always the cutest.
Have the foxes come back or have they moved permanently?
Just coming back after a week or two off. Been sick. Getting better now.
Foxes are gone … I'm hoping they use the same den next time.
Wising you a quick and full recovery …
More pix coming from yesterday.
Humming right along.
Nice pics, as always.
We get geese that fly by. Even if I don't look to see them, can always hear them.
Posted a third image.
Love the hummer. We have dozens of them this year again. Keep filling up the feeder and they keep drinking it down. Just love it and your photo.
Seems like folks have ducked out.
So, I say, "good night."
It's a cavalcade of amazing bird shots. You have done well today, Mac. Each one of these is a beauty.
Important question:
If a Canada Goose is born in the USA, will it have dual citizenship?
Nice photos - what was the shutter speed to stop the wings of the Hummingbird, or were they still at that moment?
1/2000 second shutter speed, f5.6 aperture.
Good one on the dual citizenship, Buzz.
A feather in your cap.
More birds from this shoot to come.
Posted photo 4).

4 and 5, two more beauties.
