Feminist attacked on subway by "Asian" man. More upset "two white men" didn't help her.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

A fashion chief executive attacked by an unwell 6ft man on a busy Tube carriage has slammed two men who moved seats and left her to defend herself.

'I remain more angry with those white middle class men who left me to it. As fathers, husbands and sons they should be ashamed of themselves.'

Miss Cincik praised those who came to her aid as 'angels', saying: 'An Eastern European man who had seen the guy on the platform had worked his way down the train as he felt that man was dangerous and he got to me when the train stopped.'

Found this interesting considering her social media history criticizes the "patriarchy" and especially white males and she doesn't need them .. etc etc

Until she is attacked.  Sounds like equality to me.  If a man was attacked would he be in the right criticizing the women for not helping him?

many comments on this in the link.

But she was left furious by the lack of support shown to her by two men who were sitting on the Tube near her.

“There were two men sitting in the carriage near me who looked as though they were in their fifties,” she said.

“At one point, the guy said ‘these two aren’t going to help you, they are going to go into the next carriage and leave you’ and then that is exactly what happened, it was the strangest thing.

“When they walked out the guy shouting at me was laughing and said ‘now you’re on your own’ – it was a power trip for him.”

She said eventually a woman came and sat with her and said she would not leave her. They then pulled the emergency chord and the train came to a stop, at which point the perpetrator got off.

Could be just me, but something seems fishy about this story... (?)

Actually that was my first thought as well.  A made up story so she could rail against the patriarchy... but I'll take her at her word for now.  I won't be surprised if parts of it are made up though.

BUT...  I probably would have laughed and said she was on her own too if I knew who she was.

If I was a man, knowing who she was, and witnessed the attack, I might have stuck around to see how a size 8 defends herself : )

There is already conflicting information provided by Cincik ..

From the Daily Mail:

Miss Cincik praised those who came to her aid as 'angels', saying: 'An Eastern European man who had seen the guy on the platform had worked his way down the train as he felt that man was dangerous and he got to me when the train stopped.'

She said her message to those who left her was: 'You are cowards with less empathy and strength than two size 8 women and a Greek female pensioner. Shame on you.

From the Standard:

She said eventually a woman came and sat with her and said she would not leave her. They then pulled the emergency chord and the train came to a stop, at which point the perpetrator got off.

Just curious, why not pull the emergency chord when the 'unwell' Asian man first began yelling?

She probably had a "deer in the headlights" reaction from the first verbal assault.
