CLINTON: U.S. & N Korea reached agreement that will make the US, Korean Peninsula, & the world safer.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

I am pleased that the United States and North Korea yesterday reached agreement on the text of a framework document on North Korea's nuclear program. This agreement will help to achieve a longstanding and vital American objective: an end to the threat of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula.

This agreement is good for the United States, good for our allies, and good for the safety of the entire world. It reduces the danger of the threat of nuclear spreading in the region. It's a crucial step toward drawing North Korea into the global community.

Today, after 16 months of intense and difficult negotiations with North Korea, we have completed an agreement that will make the United States, the Korean Peninsula, and the world safer.

Under the agreement, North Korea has agreed to freeze its existing nuclear program and to accept international inspection of all existing facilities.

All jokes aside.  If the Korean Peninsula, especially the Northern part, had casinos, resorts, golf courses and areas where everyone could have a great time, in short order the population under the thumb of the Kim Regime would soon realize they didn't need him, were better off without him and would kick his gluttonous arse out.

If this is Trump's plan---------it is brilliant.

As far as the Kim Regimes alleged agreement-----------yeah, trust that shyster?

I've often thought the same thing about the Gaza Strip. Its prime Meditteranean ocean front property. A natural for luxury Meditteranean oceanfront resorts and marinas. In addition, Its not far (even by bus!) from some of the most amazing archaeological sites in the world-- to the west Egypt, to the East Jerusalem, etc. If the people kicked out Hamas and made peace, the people there would be quite prosperous.

But as with N Korea, the people are too brainwashed to change . . .

Yep.  My thinking exactly.  Except all of those 'religious nutbags' not only believe, but also cherish their 'alleged' relevance.

They're not only brainwashed in my opinion Krishna, but this dictatorship doesn't give much room for dissension within the government.  I mean how many people within the powerhouse have been killed?  Even his half brother was killed.  I read where he has killed at least 70 people since taking power and that was over a year ago.  Some say it has been up to and maybe more than 300 and these aren't the common man walking down the road.

If Kim Jong Un decided to go along with this plan of d-nuclearazation, his biggest battle would be within his own government.  He inherited a country, but he also inherited a life of fear from all those who may well take his life in my opinion.

I would assume those under the rule of Hamas are probably living under similar conditions.  I bet you don't see any Israel flag hanging on any doors over there.

Trump's plan so far seems to be trust-- but at all cost don't verify!

I think we should all write letters to the Pope requesting Trump be awarded Sainthood!

Sainthood?  Great idea.  Just double check Trump's financials to make sure everything is on the 'up and up' as they say.  You know, involving The Pope and all of that.

I should have read the entire 12 or 13 comments before commenting and trying to make a civil comment.  I didn't realize at the time I commented above I had gotten off on the wrong floor.

Clever misleading article Krishna.  Of course I could not open the YouTube so I was shocked until I opened the link.  If I post a comment by Shakespeare, is there anyone who will think it was written yesterday?

My favourite Shakespeare quotation (still applicable today):

"The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers." (Henry VI, Part 2)

I really wanted a T-shirt that said that.
