Bush Counting Down Days Until He Is No Longer Worst President in History

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

BorowitzBushCountingDownDaysUntilHeisNoLongerWorstPresidentinHistory1.jpg Former President George W. Bush is eagerly counting down the days until he is no longer the worst President in U.S. history, Bush confirmed on Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters at his home, Bush said that he “could hardly wait” until Friday, when he will be officially bounced from the worst-President slot.

“I have to admit, I never thought I’d see this day in my lifetime,” the former President said. “When you leave office with the nation in smoldering ruins, you sort of come to accept that you’re gonna be worst for a long, long time.”

“I guess you could say I set the bar kind of high, worst-wise,” he chuckled.

As the returns came in on Election Night, however, the former President suddenly realized that his days as the worst President in U.S. history might be coming to an abrupt end.

“Holy cow,” Bush remembered saying to himself. “Just holy cow.”

While Bush recognizes that many Americans are dreading Friday’s Inauguration, he said he hoped that they could “sort of understand” why he might see things differently.

“To be honest, Friday can’t come fast enough for me,” he said. “I’m like a kid waiting for Christmas.”

Trump will easily be reelected in 2020 and will be kindly remembered by history for all the good he did for his country.

I sometimes wonder what your views on things actually are.  I don't believe you have ever stated them on anything.  Perhaps one day you will tire of the childish gas lighting and let us know.  I won't be holding my breath though!

All that proves is that Obama and Clinton were far better running criminal government institutions than Republican presidents.  Their cronies were allowed to declare the 5th and skate; or were given executive privilege, or investigations were ignored or mishandled by the FBI/DOJ.

If Comey had handled the Clinton email investigation with half of the tenacity, hatred, and bias that Mueller has handle the Trump/Russian connection- then maybe the Democrats wouldn't have Trump derangement syndrome- as the Democrat Party hand pick nominee would be in prison.  Of course Comey loaded his investigation team with Hillary sympathizers- and granted immunity to all witnesses. But nothing to see here; and the Inspector General report means nothing.

But Trump!  Yes, chances are Trump will not be remember as a great president.  But putting on blinders and pretending the Obama and Clinton administrations weren't two of the most corrupt around is denying reality.

GWBush was not the worst president.  Until the current one was installed by fake news, Russian money and Russian Intel that laurel absolutely belongs to Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Yeah, as most historians agree, Bush-2 was clearly not the worst .   One can argue the order but POTUS's like Harding, Buchanan, Pierce and Andrew Johnson clearly were.

Bush-2 was Mahatma Gandhi in comparison to those guys.
