Sunsets - Photo Essay

These are photos that I've taken of sunsets at a few different lakes around the US.

Hope that you enjoy them.

If you have a sunset photo please feel free to post it here.

Since there is a problem with spacing between the photos I've posted a list of each photo and where was taken

Top (first) photo.....Table Rock Lake, SW Missouri

2nd...Clear Lake, northern California

3rd....Red Lake northern Minnesota

4th....Lake of the Woods, Minnesota/Canada...taken from the US side.

Nice. There was a lady that use to be on Old NV that loved sunsets. I remember that even after she was lost, some would remember her when one was posted.

I have a few.

Rottlady lived about 45 miles from me and was at a Vine Meet that we had in Kimberling City MO in 2012.

It was the same river. The Wolf River. This was about twilight.

One more and I will quit.  Haaha

This is the river in the afternoon. This is a little further up the river. It is wider than it looks here. Friends of mine have some land here and a sort of pier/boat dock right on the river.

The first two were taken on boat.

Thanks. At the end of the last picture the river curves to the right. Right around the curve, there is big old, long tree that actually hangs out over the river. At one time someone hung a rope on it and people stop there and climb across the tree and swing from the rope.

My idiot Nephew and his friends thought they could speed along on the jetski and as they came up to the rope hanging down, the guy riding along in the jetski would grab the rope and swing. Supposedly.

Lets just say it didn't work out as planned.

I'm sure that it didn't.....Just surviving a stupid stunt like that is a win.

For those that might not be aware Rottlady's Flicker page is still up.

There's a lot of enjoyable stuff to see over there. I miss here.

With seasonal variances most of my sunsets look like these.

But then there are the times Mother Nature fells like partying and I'll get to enjoy sights like theses!

We play golf early, when we're in Yuma. Often early enough to be out already when the sun comes up. Took this with my phone:

The sunsets here are not as good as the ones back in Canada where the air was clearer, but here's the best I can get:

I don't know why, but I don't see a picture - of course that happens a lot in my case.  However, I had no problem seeing Kavika's, Arkansas Hermit's, and Ender's and Bob Nelson's pictures.  It must be the way you are loading yours.

I love that one for a couple of reasons. Water, sunrise and in the background the cranes at port.
