Concussions are the least of your worries in Texas.  Now you need to be worried about being choked and beaten after you receive the concussion.

That kid should have been expelled from school and never allowed to play football again

Well, it is Texas.  Everything is bigger in Texas - including injustice.

That is only a start. This student-athlete needs to be charged with assault.

In fairness it did happen in Waco and the victim was wearing all black.    How was the assailant to know that the victim wasn't actually black?

Don't forget stupidity.

His lawyer will try to blame the kids aggressive actions on early stage CTE.

Anyone know what the "Entire" story REALLY is ?

I can definitely say...… My son....who played HS football.....would have run out on the field and beat the aggressors fucked up ass until he blacked out ! Even if he was on the same team of the aggressor.

I thought I posted this or a similar post yesterday.  (Amazing how shit disappears on the world wide web )

Anyway Waco thought it enough to additionally ban the agressor from any exrta curricular events for an additional week,

AND

He cannot play in any football games until the victim is ready to play as well.  The victim is under a mandatory 3 week concussion restriction.

Lame.

He should have been arrested, underage or not. Just as if it happened at the Mall.

We see the importance of football in Texas. Why should he ever be permitted to play organized football ever again? This assault should merit a minimum of 2 weeks in the juvenile lockup with mandatory psych.
