Proof that scientists can have a sense of humor
This is an excerpt from a paper recently published in Nature. This article is 100% legitimate, and is entitled "Methylation-based enrichment facilitates low-cost, noninvasive genomic scale sequencing of populations from feces." For copyright reasons, I have only attached the graphical abstract of the paper.
For a laugh, look very closely at the "feces" in the graphical abstract. Really zoom in there. Laughing yet?
Please do not riot at the political leanings of Nature, as I am QUITE sure that Nature was wholly unaware of this, given how closely you would have to look to spot it, especially considering that this is UNHEARD OF in science and it went more or less unnoticed for an entire year.
Edit: The image quality was kind of crappy (#necessarypun), so here's the "zoomed" image:
All I can say is that first author, Kenneth Chiou, is my hero.
One can assume that Ken & Christine are always fun at a picnic...

It was a cow pie with a startling resemblance to the former VP.
That is some powerful branding.
OK there is something wrong with me..
I don't see anything. HELP!!
At the right end of the poo looks like a silhouette of trump.
There is something wrong with me. I don't see it. Egads! Where has my imagination gone?
Kind of vague. And here I am circling part of poo.
Hey, I'm not that old yet!! I might even be younger than you...
AH! Now I see it!!
