Big Kitties Love Snow! Tigers, Lions, and Snow Leopards -- VIDEOS
Little kitties, not so much!
Our escape artist, Andy, the black kitty, managed to slip through the doorway into the snow and, WOW! He made a beeline for coming back indoors! (That will teach him, maybe...) Rescued before winter came 2 years ago, Andy behaves as if he is being tortured in snow. I can pictures him screaming, "It Burns! It Burns!", as he shakes his paws to get it off. Now, after a nice bath, he is sleeping peacefully on my bed, glad that his ordeal by snow is over.
But, this made me wonder. How do Big Kitties feel about snow? Do lions enjoy playing in the snow? I felt sure that snow leopards would be in their element, but, since I always picture Tigers in the jungle, do they love snow? Just wait and see:

For me, the big surprise was Tigers-- who LOVE the snow! These tigers live in eastern Russia, where it is, naturally, quite snowy!

I love kitties of any size, as long as they aren't trying to maim or kill me.
