Delta adds 460 passengers who refused masks to 'no-fly' list
Delta said wearing masks "is among the simplest and most effective actions we can take to reduce transmission" and banned 460 mask-refusing customers.

Over 400 passenger won't be flying Delta anytime soon as a result of their alleged refusal to wear face masks during flights, according to an internal memo obtained by NBC News.

In a letter to Delta employees Thursday, CEO Ed Bastian said that 460 customers who refused to wear face coverings amid the coronavirus pandemic were added to the airline's "no-fly list."

"Wearing a mask is among the simplest and most effective actions we can take to reduce transmission, which is why Delta has long required them for our customers and our people," Bastian wrote as he announced the bans, encouraging staff to view two internal videos about their effectiveness.

The Atlanta, Georgia-based airline — and many other U.S.-based carriers — began to require non-vented fabric face coverings during flights in May.

The pandemic has already taken a grave toll on Delta and other airlines across the country, many of which began furloughing workers earlier this month when emergency relief funding lapsed without any new congressional funding.

As COVID-19 cases jump across the country, Bastian wrote that reversing the airline's fortunes depends on fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

"With the cold-weather months approaching, stopping the spread will be crucial to our recovery from the pandemic and Delta's return to growth and leadership within our industry," he wrote.

We had a Trump rally in Ocala Fl last week and hundreds of village idiots from our retirement community showed up, no mask no social distancing.

As a reminder to the village idiots who are among the most vulnerable, seniors, 80,000 plus new COVID cases in the US yesterday and the positivity rate for Florida is 12.9%.

Trump had two more rallies in Florida yesterday, with few masks, and no social distancing.

MAGA, ''Make American a Graveyard Again''.

Wow.  We need to vote that idiot, and his partisan pallies, out of office.

As for Delta?  Good for them.  I'm sure it took quite the set of collective balls, but I'm glad they are sticking to it.

It's almost as if Trump is trying to kill off his voting base.

These people are giving a Tribal reaction.

Each is "doing as the Chief does, saying whatever the Chief says". It doesn't matter what that "whatever" might be.

They feel a need to prove their devotion to the Chief. There can be no greater devotion than to risk one's life. Therefore they must risk their lives for the Chief.

Is this irrational? Of course.

Good for Delta.

On the other hand I would expect a 'class action' lawsuit by these ( MAGA  folk ) claiming that this action by Delta is discrimination against a cult and falls under religious protections.

“They prolonged the pandemic,” he said, and turned to the saturation of Covid news. “That’s all I hear about now, it’s all I hear.” “Turn on television, right.

Covid, Covid. Covid, Covid, Covid. Covid,” he said. “A plane goes down, 500 people dead, they don’t talk about it.  Covid Covid Covid Covid.”

“By the way on November fourth you won’t hear about it anymore,” he said as the crowd cheered.

— President D. J. Trump October 2020

Seniors in the republican party of Trump! Can y'all disabuse yourselves of Trump long enough to realize the impact of this so-called line of reasoning he is deploying in Florida and around the country?

First, there is no plane "crashing" to relinquish headlines too. So that is a lie and attempt at confusing the issue at hand. Then, this stupid, selfish, marauder gallivanting around the country holding "super-spreader" events discounts and mocks the coronavirus which has killed thousands of seniors! And literally make those who are in "recovery" long-haulers of its diseased state. Including this marauder!

Second, and this is the biggest insult of all in this. This bastard of a president, sworn to protect us all and won't do it, has the audacity to attempt to fake us out to acept that NOBODY ACTUALLY CARES about this coronavirus, this COVID-19, which is decimating many mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, sons, and daughters, and on and on.

Do you see it now? Think about it now.

Donald Trump really thinks in that small grifter mind of his that come November 4th, citiies like New York, California, Florida, New Jersey, Washington State, Los Angeles, and all the other suffering states will become dispassionate about their losses of life and capital.

That because Donald Trump does not care about the sick, dying, and the dead from coronavirus - we, are like him! Nothing could be farther from the truth!
