1.That currently...its not great. (Obviously if you thought it was already great-- you wouldn't go around cpmstantly advocating making it great (because it already is).
2. Therefore, In addition, calling for making it great Again means that while its not currently great-- at one time it was.
Which raises an interesting question-- if you say it once was great-- when, exactly, was it great?
MAGA was based on bashing prior President Obama. Like President Obama destroyed rather than made a lot of things better thanks to former President Bush.

It seems a lot of people cannot recognize right off the bat that such a question as "when was America great" is 100% subjective and as such there is no actual answer.
