House Intel Republicans not told about Eric Swalwell’s relationship with Chinese spy
“Did Schiff and [House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi know?

Swallwell runs around claiming Trump was an agent of Russia, when he himself was sleeping with a Chinese spy.

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Swalwell, who represents a California district south of Oakland, received an FBI “defensive briefing” in 2015 on operative Fang Fang, but most if not all Republicans on the elite committee weren’t told that a colleague had been targeted by China.

This---piece of propaganda flotsam is yet another distraction away from the 'coiffured hair' distractor.

Matters not.  Follow the money from the Russians, Saudis, Turks and Chinese through the NRA through the GOP and through the 'coiffured hair' crowd.

GOP has issues.  Money issues.  This is another deflection.  What Eric Trump said in 2014 is true.  The question to be answered is from whom and why.

GOP is afraid somebody might look at spending, like at the border and what else will turn up.  A lot of dirty money running around.

Hard to say what the new AG might look at.  Some people have very much to be worried about.  You could start with the NRA and from there into GOP campaigns and from there.................use your imagination.

The NY post is nothing but a trashy right wing tabloid akin to the National Enquirer.

There is ZERO evidence that Swallwell had any sort of relationship with her and as the article states "Fang, also known as Christine Fang, returned to China in mid-2015".

So as they said this supposed "spy" "reportedly fundraised for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign before he joined the Intelligence Committee in 2015."

So what's the story here? China "targeted" Swallwell is the claim, but apparently right wing media thinks because Republican legislators weren't told about it then what?

This is a sad and shameful hit piece but just par for the course for right wing conspiracy theory nut balls.

Right? I mean at minimum there should exist a picture of the two of them in the same room. That kind of minimal association was grounds for suspicion in the Russia investigations, after all.

Oh wait! I found one.

68d31d7884baa769d0c60591ba26f3db

And look: She's still Facebook friends with the family. That's sweet.

36643774-0-Fang_is_still_friends_with_Swalwell_s_father_Eric_Sr_and_brother-a-2_1607602669910.jpg

Dad even liked a picture of her back in March:

36652954-0-Swalwell_s_father_also_liked_a_headshot_style_image_Fang_posted_-a-5_1607602669943.jpg

And she liked a picture of the Congressman in November 2016, a year after he says they cut ties. (by the way the fact that he says they cut ties means they had ties at some point. Logic!)

36643768-0-In_the_video_Joshua_and_Eric_are_seen_on_screen_in_selfie_mode_t-a-4_1607602669940.jpg

So she was a friend as of yesterday. Today, she's not anymore. Crazy, right?

36681528-9039065-image-a-21_1607605236235.jpg

Yep. No relationship at all. Zero evidence. And nothing remotely suspicious. Probably.

Oh wait! I found one.

She was supposed to be some honey pot spy and I meant "relationship" in that context of which there is ZERO evidence in that article of there being anything more than her work for his campaign as no doubt dozens and dozens of other people did as well.

"And she liked a picture of the Congressman in November 2016, a year after he says they cut ties."

Oh, well that fucking proves it then! /s

"by the way the fact that he says they cut ties means they had ties at some point. Logic!"

Where in the article or anywhere else did he say he "cut ties"? I read it through twice and still couldn't find your spurious claim, and that's besides the fact that even if he had it's a stretch to claim "ties" meant an intimate relationship where intelligence could have been compromised. What a weak sniveling attack.

Baseless trash seed followed up with baseless trash comments from right wing hacks.

Nothing in anything you posted shows that they had any sort of intimate relationship which is what the sad NY post is implying and some dumb shits on the right are getting their panties in a bunch over.

Here is more evidence this is just a trash hit piece.

"Swalwell has not said if he had a romantic relationship with Fang"

Yeah, and Donald Trump hasn't said he's not a demon turd beast from the bowels' of hell, so I guess we should just go ahead and assume it, right? I mean, he fits the profile...

Actually, the Axios article states:

Swalwell immediately cut off all ties to Fang, according to a current U.S. intelligence official, and he has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

So the source for that claim is an anonymous intelligence official, NOT Swalwell.

FAIL.

But hey, if there's nothing there, then there's no reason to be upset about it, right?

No worries, misrepresenting 'facts' seems to be all one needs around here.

Really? Please link as I was unable to find it. Maybe I'm just incompetent as I've gone through both articles and have yet to find that quote you claim from Swalwell.

I found one quote from his representatives that states "Rep. Swalwell, long ago, provided information about this person — whom he met more than eight years ago, and whom he hasn’t seen in nearly six years — to the FBI. To protect information that might be classified, he will not participate in your story."

I did find this, which you're perhaps misusing claiming it was his own words, which of course is a total lie, [Deleted]

"What happened: Amid a widening counterintelligence probe, federal investigators became so alarmed by Fang's behavior and activities that around 2015 they alerted Swalwell to their concerns — giving him what is known as a defensive briefing. Swalwell immediately cut off all ties to Fang, according to a current U.S. intelligence official, and he has not been accused of any wrongdoing."

Did that say that Swalwell himself said he "cut ties"? No, it did not. It said investigators made the assessment that "ties" were cut off, which of course would include her leaving his campaign team, but there was no actual evidence that, as you falsely claimed, "he says they cut ties". No such quote or assertion was made by Swalwell, but of course, irresponsible Trump sycophants have no honor or credibility so few were waiting for actual truth, but no doubt many worthless brown nosing Trump sycophants had their mouths open and ready for the next serving of bullshit which was regularly provided by their right wing media masters. Nah, he didn't know Fang at all. jrSmiley_88_smiley_image.gif

Among the most significant targets of Fang's efforts was Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.).
  • Fang took part in fundraising activity for Swalwell’s 2014 re-election campaign, according to a Bay Area political operative and a current U.S. intelligence official. Swalwell’s office was directly aware of these activities on its behalf, the political operative said. That same political operative, who witnessed Fang fundraising on Swalwell's behalf, found no evidence of illegal contributions.
  • Federal Election Commission records don’t indicate Fang herself made donations, which are prohibited from foreign nationals.
  • Fang helped place at least one intern in Swalwell's office, according to those same two people, and interacted with Swalwell at multiple events over the course of several years.

Keep denying the obvious. I guess every politician grants internships based on the recommendation of people they don't know.

Oh, I almost forgot "Russia, Russia, Russia".

The only thing rational persons are questioning is what the fuck this has to do with anything today?

The facts so far:

Fang allegedly had two affairs with two mayors.

Fang worked for Swalwells campaign in 2014.

Fang went back to China in 2015.

Fang "liked" a photo of Swalwell on Facebook.

Swalwell joined the Intelligence Committee in 2015.

Republicans claim they were not informed when Swalwell was about Fang.

Where is the story here? There isn't even an allegation of any misconduct, no claim that anything was compromised, just a whole crap load of conjecture from conspiracy theory nut jobs.
