Thank you so very much for reminding us of all the lives lost in 2020, some of them due to Covid-19. I am hoping that 2021 will be a much better year for us all.
They named just about everyone, certainly the most well known. I would just like to add the name of David Graeber, not that I'm in any way a fan.
"LONDON (AP) — David Graeber, who helped organize the Occupy Wall Street movement, has died in Venice, his agent said. He was 59.
A professor of anthropology at the London School of Economics, Graeber studied anarchism and anti-capitalist movements, and challenged the world to respond to the plight of Kurds in the Middle East."
.
It's just that I remember the "Occupy Wall Street" saga for one thing. None of the network reporters could get any of those protesters to explain what they were protesting - All except for one New York Woman who did an interview with an Egyptian Coptic Christian. She managed to do a real interview, which sadly was marred by too much back ground noise.
Morning. We neither know the day nor the hour when the bell will toll for us..so make the most of it as we can be gone in the blink of an eye..Sleep well in eternal rest....
There will be a sweet meeting in the by and by for us someday. What's it all about, anyway? Great days and better deeds all! (I am deeply touched by the memoriam, nevertheless.)
This strikes home with me; as with all that must be going on in the news world and life, I seem to have missed the ending tribute in pictures to the 'Gone.' This was quite the moment I wanted to see and it is impactful.

Vic,
There are other interviews that I did. You can find them here:
RIP
Seems like a long lineup this past year.
For me, Kobe and Chadwick Boseman were the most shocking.
RIP all.
It did seem like an extra long list of sadness.

So true Shona. Living as best as we can is the best revenge on death.
Used to be a paramedic and unfortunately got used to folk dying.
I had no idea that we lost so many greats. RIP Y'all.
Neither did I, Paula. I was shocked.

I was hoping that would be the general response. Thanks!

In honor of our Gone:
Simple Minds - Alive And Kicking (Live)
We lost 'giants'! Didn't we. Another set of giants. This world is not our home. Is it?
