Well, I went to all three and read their front pages... CBS and NBC have actual news stories, FOX seams to be too busy fighting with windmills. Makes one wonder at the criteria used to place news on their front page.

What I can't understand is that CBS and NBC are blocked in China, but FOX isn't.

That is because FOX is the cultural warrior Tucker Carlson Believer network foolishness, while the major broadcast networks actually have some semblance of journalistic integrity remaining. (Even though you can't verify that listening to some of the opinions on NewsTalkers.) So, if you put yourself in the Chinese governmets place, would you rather have your presumably more news savvy consumers viewing the good networks or the one that is bat shit crazy? Of course, you are going to pick the one that paints the USA in the least favorable light.

I do get to see a lot of news networks anyway.  Every day I watch the CTV (Canada Television Network), read the daily US News and World Report short list, Bing news, and the MSN compilations of many US news and world sources, but for the other side of the story I also read the China Daily.

American news stinks. There is almost no world news. Holy ego-centric as a nation.

I often go to BBC America for world news.

yeah, me too. At least I get what's going on around the world. We used to care, when I was a kid, but not anymore.

I also go to NHK-WORLD-Japan .   Gives a good reporting of world news and issues without all the partisan crap that US based news organizations all suffer from.
