Stop The Presses, It Is Raining On The East Coast
ABC Evening News with David Muir, the most popular daily national news program , led off it's report this evening with news that there is heavy rain moving through parts of the east coast. "Washington , Baltimore , Philadelphia and New York" are likely to experience heavy rain, gusting high winds, and possible localized flooding, Muir said somewhat breathlessly.
I've got news for David Muir, there is heavy rain and high winds this time of year, somewhere in the US, virtually every day.I don't recall any of that rain being the lead story on the nightly network news unless it contains a hurricane or multiple tornado touchdowns in metropolitan areas.
No hurricanes or tornadoes touching down in populated areas reported in today's weather for the mid Atlantic region.
This is east coast bias, and pretty ridiculous.
