The Man on the Moon
Well, the virus -- look, it's real simple. We have a pandemic for those who haven't gotten a vaccination. It's that basic, that simple. Ten thousand people have recently died; 9,950 of them, thereabouts, are people who hadn't been vaccinated. This is a simple, basic proposition. If you're vaccinated, you're not going to be hospitalized, you're not going to be in an ICU unit, and you are not going to die. So it's gigantically important that you act like -- we all act like Americans who...

What is this format known as a Town Hall?  It is supposed to be an event where engaged citizens get to ask questions directly to public officials or candidates and done best with the aid of an unbiased moderator. On Wednesday night in Cincinnati, Ohio CNN provided a hideous spectacle with Don Lemon in the role of "moderator" and a senile old man trying to skate through a list of what could best be described as current events. Although it didn't get many viewers (only half of what Tucker Carlson got at the same time) some of Biden's gaffes went viral.

The sad reality begins at 1:07 of the video:

When he was coherent, he was dishonest. Asked by one questioner how he was going to restore America’s faith in science, Biden replied: I'm going to “listen to the scientists . . . and not interfere, just let the scientists proceed.” Shortly thereafter Lemon asked what had to be the only real question he was able to ask: Would the kids be able to return to school this fall? To which the man who supposedly listens to science replied: “the CDC is probably gonna say everyone under the age of 12 should be wearing a mask in school, so that’s probably what’s gonna happen.”  That response was emblamatic of what kind of a night it was.

When asked about the surging inflation that Larry Summers famously warned about, Biden denied that Summers said what he said and then went on to say that his bill would “reduce inflation, because we’re going to be providing good opportunities and jobs and people who in fact are gonna be reinvesting that money in all the things we’re talking about, driving down prices not raising prices.
A restaurateur, complained that although he was raising wages he was still having trouble finding people to work. Biden indirectly (like they do here on NT) blamed the man for possibly not offering enough , but then, when asked a follow up question on this by Lemon, said he had “seen no evidence” that the extra unemployment benefits that he (Biden) provided had anthing to do with it and get this - the economy was recovering so well that people wouldn’t want to be waiters, especially once we got them free community college.

I could go on and on, but I won't. The objective reader may be the only ones who really care. Partisans will attack the source (whoever that may be) or deny the undeniable ( we have one who does it no matter how weak her argument) or troll us (with #45) or if all else fails launch the usual personal attack. They shouldn't waste their time or our's. We are living through a very dangerous period. Our values and freedoms are under assault. All we really have right now is our ability to vote. Let us not make this terrible mistake again.

It will be easy to vote them out when we get the chance. Let's not let it ever happen again!

The choice was and is between a 79 year old Joe Biden and the most dishonest , immoral and personally corrupt person to EVER sit in the Oval Office. I think I will start posting excerpts from the three new books that detail the insanity of the last weeks and months of the previous president. The total disgrace to this country that those books portray as embodying the previous president completely dwarf any occasional stumbling over words by Biden.

What is more disturbing is the continuing and perhaps growing support this immoral, dishonest and corrupt person who used to be president is getting from his cult.

It's not the senility of Biden that is under discussion - It is the policies of his handlers.

That is the topic.

I'm sure there is a lot of buyers remorse over the 2020 election - not from hard core leftists, but from people who put mean tweets above what was best for the nation!

Biden is only a "problem" until he is contrasted with the alternative, then all the problems with Biden shrink to nothingness.

Many of those who voted for Biden NEVER expected to be getting Bernie Sanders. After all that's why Biden was given the nomination - the idea that Sanders was unelectable.

As the gop dies a new Democratic majority emerges.

With the gop in retreat Democrats gear up for 2022.

This Just In:

Conservatives were left puzzled and slammed  President Joe Biden  after he quipped about Republicans allegedly believing Democrats are "sucking the blood out of kids" during an exchange with a reporter.

"Are there people in the  Republican  Party who think we’re sucking the blood out of kids?" the president  quipped Wednesday  in response to a Daily Caller reporter asking him if there are any Democrats who want to defund the police.

The puzzled reporter responded: "I’m not sure."

The comment has sparked mockery and condemnation on social media, with many also expressing befuddlement.

"Anyone else concerned how obsessed Joe Biden is with sucking blood out of kids?" attorney Jenna Ellis tweeted in response.

Just another day in the world of Joe Biden
