A terrible day for thousands of families.
"This decision from President Biden's Department of Justice makes President Biden complicit in the criminal corruption scandal and coverup of deaths of thousands of vulnerable seniors," No. 3 House Republican and New York Rep. Elise Stefanik wrote in a statement following the DOJ's letter, saying, "New Yorkers deserve answers and accountability."

The Biden Justice Department announced that it will not be launching any investigations into the Democrat-run states where seniors died of covid in nursing homes.

In a letter to Rep Steve Scalise , t he Justice Dept wrote that they were dropping the nursing home investigations in all states including New York.

Republicans expressed outrage on Friday that Biden's Department of Justice is refusing to open an investigation into the policies by New York and several other states that caused nursing homes to take in residents who were being discharged from hospitals but still testing positive for COVID-19.

U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-Schuylerville, issued the following statement Friday:

“This decision from President Biden’s Department of Justice makes President Biden complicit in the criminal corruption scandal and cover up of deaths of thousands of vulnerable seniors,"  “New Yorkers deserve answers and accountability. I was the first member of Congress to call for an investigation into Gov. Cuomo’s corrupt criminal cover-up and I will continue to fight for the families who lost loved ones because of the cruelty and corruption of our governor."

In other news: Tony Podesta, the man who was in the same business as Paul Manafort, announced he was representing the Chinese Communist Party’s premier telecom company: Huawei.

I believe this should be investigated Vic. I also believe with a brand new never before dealt with v=irus, mistakes were made, as it is inevitable with a 'NOVEL' Virus, but don't you find it amazingly stupid how so many seem upset about a mishandling of a brand new virus we did not know much about, while whence witnessing and many experiencing in real time, an attack on our way of life on January 6th, and voting against a bipartisan 9/11 type commission and investigation, cause the GOP priorities are PATHETIC. AS stated, i believe this should not have been dropped, and YOU bringing in the Card Holder, Eric, allows me to point to the priority levels the Repubs manipulate in an attempt to alienate those in a Democratic State, while stating ignorance to real problems that can and need to be dealt with take a back seat. The insurrection is STILL a clear and present danger, as are ther lies OF 45, BUT , Your concern is about people who've passed due to our infancy in knowledge on how to properly deal with something no one had ever dealt with. WHY should not the blatant LIES of 45 and the Republicans be not investigated, cause that is what instigated and originated thousands of unnecessary DEATHS. Do you think that should be less a priority than this ? Do you think Fox and far right media should be investigated for portraying Lies causing peoples to Die , or, is that just fine in your eye >>>//?????

Great. I'm giving someone on the other side some credit for saying what is morally right. . I see you have a bit more to add.

I don't see how you got from Garland's decision to Jan 6th. You don't mind if I get off here?

You are both transparently very partisan and in denial of it.  Hard to get past that.

I think we can conclude it here. We have one admission plus political rant and one denial with a dash of projection.
