Please Don't Suck - Bubblegum Pop for the 2020's
PLEASE DON'T SUCK - Noa Kirel
Please Don't Suck
Please Don't Suck
Cuz I've been let down enough
I think I might fall in love
So baby don’t fuck this up
Please Don't Suck
Cuz finding somebody’s tough
I think i might fall in love
So baby don't fuck this up
Please Don't
7 billion people but
You’re the one who’s most okay
Finally I found someone
Someone I can tolerate
I’m love sick I’m love sick ughhh (YUCK)
Same old shit same old shit
Don’t ruin it don’t ruin it, cuz
I’m falling in I’m fallin in,
Oooh, tell me
Can you do just one thing for me?
Please Don't Suck
Cuz I've been let down enough
I think I might fall in love
So baby don’t fuck this up
Please Don't Suck
Cuz finding somebody’s tough
I think i might fall in love
So baby don't fuck this up
Please Don't Suck
Better not waste my time
Cuz boy I got an ego, my jealousy is lethal
Better not hurt my pride
Might be too late, tho
I’m love sick I’m love sick ughhh
Same old shit Same old shit yaaah
Don’t ruin it Don’t ruin it, cuz
I’m falling in I’m fallin in,
Oooh, tell me
Can you do just one thing for me?
Please Don't Suck
Cuz I've been let down enough
I think I might fall in love
So baby don’t fuck this up
Please Don't Suck
Cuz finding somebody’s tough
I think i might fall in love
So baby don't fuck this up
Please Don't Suck
Said you never felt like this
So did the last guy that I kissed
We’ve already come this far
Please Don't Suck
Cuz I've been let down enough
I think I might fall in love
So baby don’t fuck this up
Please Don't Suck
Cuz finding somebody’s tough
I think i might fall in love
So baby don't fuck this up
Please Don't Suck

I think the target audience for this type of music is 13 year old girls.
You've come a long way baby.
Most 13 year old's could write better lyrics than that.
Just when I thought K-pop was the thing...
Very little written after 2020 is worth listing to.....most of it....sucks. I like the assorted covers put out by this very talented young lady.
Meant to say 2000!
At least the 90's had grunge. Haha
Looked her up on your recommendation
there is a clarity to her singing that is very refreshing . No affectation.
For clarity, presenting Ms.Erika Lewis of Tuba Skinny....
Alright, I broke down and heard part of it.
Not even catchy...
Please don't suck could be a mantra when listening to new music...
Although I think it is truly deplorable that pop music has gotten to the point that they put open vulgarities into titles and lyrics of songs aimed at preteen girls , I found this song to be relatively "melodic" compared to a lot of the other crap that is out there. The opening few notes actually mimic the opening of Mr Sandman, a 50's hit
so I think they tried to put a throw back 50's - 70's vibe into the music is a small way.
The lyrics are another story.
I dont think people pay enough attention to degeneracy in pop culture.
Innuendo is a lost art...
The Way You Look Tonight
-
Jerome Kern with lyrics written by Dorothy Fields.

Some day, when I'm awfully low
When the world is cold
I will feel a glow just thinking of you
And the way you look tonight
Yes, you're lovely, with your smile so warm
And your cheeks so soft
There is nothing for me but to love you
And the way you look tonight
With each word your tenderness grows
Tearing my fear apart
And that laugh wrinkles your nose
Touches my foolish heart
Lovely, never never change
Keep that breathless charm
Won't you please arrange it? 'Cause I love you
Just the way you look tonight
A very similar song...
You Look Wonderful Tonight, by Eric Clapton
It's late in the evening
She's wondering what clothes to wear
She puts on her make up
And brushes her long blonde hair
And then she asks me
Do I look alright
And I say yes, you look wonderful tonight
We go to a party
And everyone turns to see
This beautiful lady
That's walking around with me
And then she asks me
Do you feel alright
And I say yes, I feel wonderful tonight
I feel wonderful
Because I see the love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize
How much I love you
It's time to go home now
And I've got an aching head
So I give her the car keys
She helps me to bed
And then I tell her
As I turn out the light
I say my darling, you were wonderful tonight
Oh my darling, you were wonderful tonight
The law school professor who taught us Contracts said that you can't suck and blow at the same time. Sounds like a profane statement to me.
