MyPillow founder Mike Lindell told attendees at his “cyber symposium” in Sioux Falls Thursday that he was "attacked" Wednesday night at his hotel, but the police department said they haven't received a report.

Lindell briefly told attendees he was "attacked" but did not go into detail about the incident while on stage at his “cyber symposium” event at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance.

"I’m OK. It hurts a little bit,” Lindell said. “I just want everyone to know all the evil that’s out there.”

Sioux Falls Police said no reports have been made from Lindell about the alleged incident.

An officer from the SFPD will be visiting Lindell on Thursday to ask about the incident, police spokesman Sam Clemens said.

Lindell is in Sioux Falls for a "cyber symposium" where he announced in July that he hoped 300-400 “cyber-forensics experts” would attend and back up his claims that voting machines were hacked to flip votes intended for former President Donald Trump to President Joe Biden in November 2020.

The three-day event is in its final day after starting on Tuesday.

Mike Lindell was choked up opening the final day of his “symposium,” claiming that he was “attacked” at his hotel last night. He later claimed it was “Anifa,” but gave no details.

If he was actually attacked why didn't he report it to the police?

Staged, absolutely.  No doubt about it.

I think it was the pillow he is holding, but it was self-defense... it got tired of being used as a fuck doll.

What's the worry?

I just noticed that tomorrow is 8/13... isn't that the day that he said that Trump will be "Reinstated"?

So...tomorrow Trump will be back in office...and all will be well! jrSmiley_9_smiley_image.gif

And we have the same amount of proof on his claim he was attacked as we have on his claim the election was hacked. None. Say, aren't paranoia and hallucinations symptoms of a psychotic break?

Does he still flat out own his company. Like I wonder if there is stock holders or something. Maybe a board that oversees operations.

They need to get together and somehow overthrow him from his own company lest they all go down.

This religious demographic tends to be politically animated by their staunch opposition to women's reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, and greater legal protections for the transgender community. The organization Christians Against Christian Nationalism, led by Amanda Tyler, earlier this month launched a new curriculum in a bid to address the surge in Christian nationalism across the country. Tyler's organization promoted the effort alongside fellow Christian group Vote Common Good, working with church and religious leaders in key conservative states to respond through biblical examples to the right-wing movement within American Christianity.

Time to tax these overtly political 'religious' organizations.

He didn't report it to the police because it would be too embarrassing to admit that he was attacked by MyPillow and lost the fight.

Lawsuits and settlement

In April 2016, a class action lawsuit was proposed for the pillows being falsely advertised, among the complaints being that Lindell is marketed as a "Sleep Expert," despite having no board certification or special training in sleep medicine. [7]   The   Better Business Bureau   received 220 complaints regarding the company from 2013 to 2016. [28]

In August 2016, the   New York State Attorney General 's office charged that My Pillow failed to collect and remit over $500,000 in sales tax. The company denied any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $1.1 million in settlement. [29]

On November 1, 2016, My Pillow agreed to pay $1 million ($995,000 in civil penalties and $100,000 to California charities benefitting homeless persons and victims of domestic violence) to settle a   false advertising   lawsuit brought in   Alameda County Superior Court   by   Alameda County   and eight other   California counties . [30]   The lawsuit challenged the company's marketing claims. This included claims without proof that its products could help people with   fibromyalgia ,   restless leg syndrome   and   sleep apnea . [30]   In the past, the company had published testimonials claiming its products could ease symptoms of   cerebral palsy ,   acid reflux   and   menopause . [30]   As part of the settlement, the company was banned "from making claims in California that its pillows can cure or treat diseases and their symptoms without a human trial to back up the statements." [30]   "In addition, My Pillow must stop promoting itself as the 'official pillow' of the National Sleep Foundation because it failed to disclose its financial connection with the foundation to consumers." [29]

In November 2017, the lawsuit, which challenged the appropriateness of the marketing, packaging, and sale of My Pillow products, including health claims about the product,   buy one get one   promotions, and the use of third party endorsements and logos, was settled. [8]

Ratings and reviews

A 2016   Consumer Reports   review of the company's pillows found a mixed reception after at-home testing, finding that "only one-third of the group said they would buy MyPillow again." [31]

In January 2017, the   Better Business Bureau   (BBB) announced it had revoked the accreditation for My Pillow and had lowered its rating from an A+ to an F [32]   based on numerous consumer complaints. The main issue addressed by the BBB was the constant use of their   buy one, get one free   offer. The BBB's Code of Advertising requires that offers or discounts must be made for a limited time, or the deal becomes the normal price of the product. [33]   It remained an active promotion, as of August 2020. [34]

We've now reached the portion of the stolen election conspiracy theory where others are accusing Mike Lindell of using "forged" and "fake" evidence for the purpose of covering up the *real* evidence of massive election fraud.
