Why I support Vaccine Mandates & Mask Mandates
‘BEAUTIFUL ANGEL’ Girl, 4, dies in sleep one day after she and ‘anti-vaxxer’ mom test positive for Covid

Some people are basically selfish-- they pretend its all about their "rights" but its really about their own selfishness.  That's really all it is...

They are so self-involved they care little for anyone else. They go on and on about the rights-- their "right" to not be vaccinated, to not wear masks.... (and if they spread Covid to others..well . . . that's their "right".

A FOUR-year-old girl died in her sleep just one day after she and her unvaccinated mom tested positive for Covid-19.

Her heartbroken mom Karra Harwood said she had been an anti-vaxxer but following the tragedy she wished she never had been.

In a touching tribute Karra said: "We are all so broken and lost and just trying to figure out how we are gonna get [through] this life without her light."

“She was so funny and sassy,” added Karra. “She wasn’t your average little girl. She’d rather play with worms and frogs than wear bows. She was just so pretty and full of life.”

"We are all so broken and lost and just trying to figure out how we are gonna get threw [sic] this life without her light.

"Our family has Covid and is out of work due to it, so we are overly stressed and hurting. Anything will help and Kali would be so thankful to rest in comfort and wait to see us all again."

Well, look at the bright side-- some people give in to government propaganda-- but at least you took a stand-- against the government's Socialist policies-- and for your rights!

In my opinion, any anti-vaxxer or anti-masker who spreads their infection to someone who dies is a MURDERER.  That woman murdered her own beautiful child.

I'm not a lawyer but...is this case murder? Would the charge be something like "involuntary manslaughter" (if a legal term like that exists?).

I doubt that it would be considered a crime in the USA, because it's an exercise of a person's individual rights and freedoms there to kill an innocent child by spreading your virus to them.  Just ask the conservative-packed SCOTUS, it's a Constitutional Right.  So don't wonder why America leads the world in Covid deaths.

Actually I thought long ago that relatives of people who died from Covid should file a class action suit against Trump (and his ass-kissers on Faux News)....because at the beginning they tried their best to convince us that Corona was not bi deal-- it would go away by itself... it was no worse than "the common flu", etc, etc.

This seems to be an emotional response to a  heartbreaking event.
First there is no vaccine approved for children under the age of 12 at this time.  Second even if the mom was vaccinated she can still transfer the virus to others.    But this not a  criminal offense, and even if it was you could not prove that the mother passed the virus  to the daughter, or if the daughter passed the virus to the mother.

All the more reason she should have taken sensible precautions to avoid getting the virus--- the first thing she should have done is to get herself vaccinated!

Are you a doctor?

Sounds like a (politically based) assumption on your part!

You've obviously never heard of "Contact Tracing".jrSmiley_5_smiley_image.png

There is nothing politically based about that comment it is based in science.   No I am not a doctor but I have been in emergency medicine for thirty years.  Breakthrough infections of vaccinated people who remain asymptomatic is happening like it or not, and these individuals are infectious to others.  Breakthrough disease of fully vaccinated is also occurring,  more commonly  in immunocompromised persons , they are showing symptoms of the SARS COVID 2 virus.

A heartbreaking event that could have been prevented, but stubbornly and stupidly wasn't.  But go ahead and defend what happened - your srguments don't seem to be doing much good in America.

Not defending her actions or inaction's.  Is it the actions that maybe you or I would take probably not!  Does it rise to the criminal offense of murder?  We would have to ask was there intent, did the mother knowingly and intentionally expose her daughter to the virus with the expectation that the girl would die?

Could it be construed as criminally negligent homicide possibly,  but I doubt there is a prosecutor in the country that would touch that with a 10' pole.

Agreed - negligent homicide, like leaving your kid locked in a car with windows closed on a broiing hot sunny day.  Is stupidity considered a valid defence in the USA?  It better be, since your prisons are already filled, the USA having the highest rate of incarceration in the world.

Just goes to show that many (if not most) of these anti-COVID-vaxxers actually believe what they are preaching.   And, since their beliefs are not based on facts and reason, there is no way to convince them they are wrong.
