Self-described 'dirty trickster' and former Trump advisor Roger Stone was served a lawsuit during a live radio interview alleging his involvement in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.
A process server interrupted Stone during an appearance on Real Talk 93.3 radio in St. Louis, Missouri. Ron Filipkowski, a former federal prosecutor, posted audio of the incident to Twitter.
"While Roger Stone was live on the air this morning with 'Real Talk 93.3' (St Louis) doing an interview about the 2024 election, he gets served by a process server with the January 6 lawsuit," writes Filipkowski in the tweet.
Stone was in the middle of answering a question about it being "imperative" for Trump, who pardoned Stone at the end of his term, to run in the 2024 election when getting cut short.
"Hold on a second, I have a process server at my front door about to serve me in the latest lawsuit," Stone said.
"Alright, I have just been served in the January 6th lawsuit — live, right here on your radio show," Stone said. "This is a big, big stack of papers, which is good, because we're out of toilet paper."
Filipowski also posted an unconfirmed screenshot of a statement from Stone shortly after.
"I was served with this baseless, groundless, unsubstantiated harassment lawsuit filed against President Trump and me this morning. Lawfare! Help me fight these left-wing vultures by going to StoneDefenseFund.com," Stone stated. 'Lawfare,' a portmanteau of law and warfare, commonly refers to the use of legal action against one's adversary for strategic gain.
The website Stone mentions raises money for Stone and his family for legal battles and 'other malicious assaults,' including his alleged involvement in the Capitol insurrection.
Stone has also previously been named in a civil suit on behalf of members of the Capitol police force, which also named two dozen other entities including former president Trump and the far-right groups Proud Boys and Oath Keepers.
"Defendants' unlawful efforts culminated in the January 6 mass attack on the United States Capitol and the brutal, physical assault of hundreds of law enforcement officers," the suit says.
Stone was not present during the Capitol invasion but was pictured with members of the Oath Keepers at a gathering in Washington that day. He gave a speech the night before at a rally in Washington, in which he called for an "epic struggle for the future of this country, between dark and light, between the godly and the godless, between good and evil."
Stone has not been accused of committing any crime related to Jan. 6th. About 600 people have been charged related to the insurrection so far, Daily Mail reports.
Trump's supporters will be bankrupt by 4PM.
A fool and their money . . .
"Alright, I have just been served in the January 6th lawsuit — live, right here on your radio show," Stone said. "This is a big, big stack of papers, which is good, because we're out of toilet paper."
Too funny!
Stone is a clown. He's made a pretty good living off it over the years.
He's a freakshow.
That about sums him up.
Sit down and shut up, Roger
NY Lawyer Roy Cohn, The Undisputed Worst Person in the Entire World, had three personal buttboy proteges, Paul Manafort, Roger Stone and Donald John Trump!
And, that about sums up my opinion of Roger Stone!
I wonder if Stone has added a tat of Trump to his Nixon tat.
cha-ching...
