"Conservatives Get BLINDSIDED By The Bible"
Comedians Expose Right-wing Hypocrisy on Book Burning

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

There's a book that we've seen in libraries and lots of schools that features a story of two daughters having sex with their dad.

Woman in video then says "Oh Wow".

They get their dad drunk to have sex with him.

And this is like a book...should a book like that be in a school?

...That book is actually The Bible.

Warning!

Please Think twice before watching the video as many people on social-media sites feel its politically-incorrect to actually watch a video before commenting on it!

What schools have the Bible in them? None you say? So I guess the problem is taken care of. Well maybe Catholic schools or other religious based places of learning.

None!

Certainly not Catholic schools... no Bibles there--the Libs have taken the out!

The evil Libs have banned the Bibles-- and taken religion totally out of public schools as well!

Its a Liberal conspiracy!!!

LOL!!!

The Bible and the Religious-Liberty Rights of Students
Many Americans continue to hold the mistaken view that the Supreme Court decisions in the 1960s concerning prayer and devotional Bible-reading prohibited students from expressing their faith in a public school. Actually, the Court did not eliminate prayer or the Bible from public schools; it barred state-sponsored religious practices, including devotional use of the Bible by public-school officials.

Student Religious Expression
In “Religion in the Public Schools: A Joint Statement of Current Law,” 35 religious and civil liberties organizations give the following summary of the rights of students to express their faith in a public school: Students have the right to pray individually or in groups or to discuss their religious views with their peers so long as they are not disruptive. Because the Establishment Clause does not apply to purely private speech, students enjoy the right to read their Bibles or other scriptures, say grace before meals, pray before tests, and discuss religion with other willing student listeners. In the classroom students have the right to pray quietly except when required to be actively engaged in school activities (e.g., students may not decide to pray just as a teacher calls on them). In informal settings, such as the cafeteria or in the halls, students may pray either audibly o silently, subject to the same rules of order as apply to other speech in these locations. However, the right to engage in voluntary prayer does not include, for example, the right to have a captive audience listen or to compel other students to participate.

Hehehe....I know the public school libraries in NY (damn liberal state) have the Bible in them.  The Bible is considered a reference book.

Nope.

Wrong again.

I don't say!

(But apparently you do say)

Why say you?

Why do you say?

Saying it is by you!

Seems a bit odd,,,given the true facts.

(Or should we deal with "Alternative Facts"?)

Nope.

(If the Libs can win THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS-- certainly THEY CAN BAN THE BIBLE IN CATHOLIC SCHOOLS!!)

Oh, the Horror-- will it never end? jrSmiley_26_smiley_image.gif

You did go to public school didn't you? I went to 3 different schools in PA and they ALL had a copy of the Bible in the non-fiction section.

Oh...yeah. One day I had to go to my kids' high school. Right there in the front window was the Bible on display. And it was a public school. But don't dare to raise a fuss about it. Some zealot may burn a cross in your front yard

I guess I never looked for it but I too went to 3 schools in Indiana and don't remember ever seeing one. Unless they are using it strictly as a piece of literature, don't know why they need it in school. Separation and all that stuff.

How much time did you spend in the library? It was my second home.

And no, I think it should be in the public library. It's up to the individual to decide if they want to read it or not. I feel the same way about the Quran and the Satanic Bible

Do we dare mention the description of a woman's breasts in the Song of Solomon or King David dancing naked?

Seriously scandalous material.
