Trump Attack on Biden’s Competence Misspells ‘Incompetent’

JONATHAN CHAIT   FEBRUARY 09, 2022

The   Twitter ban on Donald Trump   has forced the former president to communicate in the more traditional medium of the press release. Trump, alas, has chosen to discard most of the conventions of the medium, which are usually outsourced to communications professionals. Trump has not even bothered to employ spell-checkers, instead firing off enraged missives while he’s still mad, without taking even a few seconds to have an intern read it over and make sure he hasn’t, say, committed a simple error that turns his attack into a comical self-own.

Trump’s latest press release attempts to call the Biden administration incompetent, but instead describes it as “incompentent.”

In case you’ve forgotten what the Trump presidency was like, it was basically this, every day.

You know as well as I do, that if asked about it, Trump would deny any mistake.  His ego couldn't handles anything less than his own perceived perfection.

The real irony is complaining about a misspelled word while tacitly accepting Biden’s consistent mumbling and bumbling through his Presidency to date.

You know the left cling to the most irrelevant and trivial shit and try to make it out as the end of the world.  Look at how many bs seeds there are on this site.

That's how they distract from the blithering idiot they have in the WH.

I don't know that I'd call it irrelevant  although there are many more serious things that Trump does wrong. It just shows that he's incompetent , not Biden , Trump. This is not even close to being the first time that he's done something almost exactly like this.

Yes, Trump made all sorts of errors with word choices and spellings.

Biden, as always, makes his fair share of word choice mistakes.

I do not put much value in these mistakes.   The are embarrassing and the written ones certainly could have been easily avoided.   But ultimately, errors in communication style are low on my list of concerns for a PotUS.

Most of us are far more concerned with the current human fuck up machine in the White House than anything Trump is doing now.

With how many Trump articles that are posted on this site you would think he is still President.

The left seems to be over compensating for something very badly. Midterms can't get here quick enough.

So what?   My comment was about the irrelevance of misspelling vs. the relevance of malignant narcissism and pathological lying.   My comment suggests that misspelling is NOT the reason Trump should be barred from holding public office.

The left seems to be over compensating for something very badly.

Biden had nothing to do with my comment.    Leaping to Biden from my comment precludes you from complaining about the 'left' being obsessed with Trump.

Get a grip.

You know, for a person who claims to be so logical and intelligent you sure say some dumb things at times.

Do you really believe Biden isn’t a narcissist and pathological liar?    History says otherwise.    So one wonders what your point is.

Degrees of narcissism and lying?    Because they are both guilty of those two things.

In spades.

Do you really believe Biden isn’t a narcissist and pathological liar?

Most every politician is narcissistic and lies.

You know, for a person who claims to be so logical and intelligent you sure say some dumb things at times.

You cannot comprehend that Trump's level of malignant narcissism and pathological lying is at a level that makes career politicians look good by comparison?   The problem is not me being stupid.

Because they are both guilty of those two things.

By that profoundly screwed up reasoning, a kid stealing a candy bar from a store and a con-artist stealing millions via a Ponzi scheme are equivalent because they are "both guilty of" stealing.

Well, all I can say about that is we disagree ..... on everything but that most politicians have both those faults.

Your justifications of how Trump is somehow worse is amusing to me though.     Biden lies just a little bit eh?

Funny!

There is no justification.   One would have to be blinded by partisanship (or some other delusion) to not see that Trump sets a new standard for narcissism and lying.

Biden lies just a little bit eh?

Pathetic that you must resort to a strawman.   I never suggested that Biden 'lies just a little'.   Biden is known for his fabrications.   I suggested —now read this carefully— that neither Biden nor any other modern politician can hold a candle to the pathological lying machine Trump.

Again, opinions do vary.     Mine is that it isn’t a strawman at all but is spot on the topic.    It’s just an inconvenient truth your preferred narrative can’t deal with so you apparently feel the need to resort to sophomoric insults.

Pretty weak there buddy, pretty weak.

He's sure AF not running in 2022, and Democrats need to stop running against him very soon....  or 2022 is going to make 2010 look like a walk in the organic vegan gender-affirming park.

The human fuck up machine in the White House is heading this country towards war with the wrong super power or a corrupt POS country that means nothing to our security; while ignoring China moving in on Taiwan. Seems that million dollars in Chinese money that the Bidens received is more than enough to sell the world out. China in control of the world semi and super conductor chip market. Xi must be over the moon that Brandon is committing US forces to baby sitting duty in NATO countries.

Here is a clue. Trump is no longer president and Joe Biden is and Biden has even less qualified to be a president that you claim Trump was. Biden has done nothing positive for this country and has "f'ed" things up even more than Jimmy Carter.

Did not intend to put that in that type but finished it before I noticed and didn't feel like drinking with it to fix it or type it over. If you don't like it I don't care.

Let's go Brandon!

Yes let's attack a misspelling. Has anyone watched a Biden speech?

In an alternate universe the media can't figure out why more people listen to Joe Rogan than watch their shows or read the trash they publish.
