Songs for Ukraine – Anti-War, Anti-Oppression, Pro-Freedom, General Good Vibes, Whatever
With their tanks, and their bombs, and their bombs, and their guns...

I figured out what that Z stands for on some of those Russian vehicles...

original

Songs for Ukraine

Yeah, I know the first one is about the Troubles and the IRA bombing that killed two young boys in England, but the sentiment carries over perfectly to today.

"In your head, in your head
Zombie, zombie, zombie
What's in your head, in your head
Zombie, zombie, zombie"

The Cranberries – Zombie – Official Video

*****

"It's not worth anything more than this at all
I live as I choose or I will not live at all
So return to where you've come from
Return to where you dwell"

The Cranberries – Free To Decide – Audio

*****

"War child
Victim of political pride
Plant the seed, territorial greed
Mind the war child"

The Cranberries – Warchild – Audio

RIP Dolores O'Riordan

As for Putin's nuclear threat, a Cold War flashback...

What we are seeing is a genocide of a people, the Ukrainians. Typical of the Russians and the world is watching as they use illegal weapons against civilians.

What countries are next, Georgia, Moldova? Soon it will be at our door and we will have to make a decision.

LOL.

Fast fact – The use of the Ukrainian trident as a national symbol, the Tryzub, comes from the coinage of Volodymyr the Great, who reigned from 980 to 1015.

Now they have another Volodymyr the Great in Zelenskyy.

Volodymyr the Great... the second?

Didn't know if it was appropriate but it is a war song. However, I won't compare Ronny to Putin.

Nah, I wasn't thinking about it as a comparison to Putin or anything. I meant the Cold War vibe that I'm suddenly feeling again. Kind of a weird feeling.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I remember the first time I saw this video. It was on SNL. This probably the best video ever produced.

Came across this earlier:

Dee Snider endorses Ukrainians using "We're Not Gonna Take It" as battle cry.

Ukraine Battle Cry. We're Not Gonna Take It. Twisted Sister.

I first heard this song in the movie Iron Eagle.  Much respect to Dee for approving this as the Ukrainian battle cry.

I think when this is over

the new maps show the original Ukraine including Belarus and extending all the way over

to Kazakhstan

Fuck Putin

and fuck Russia.

maybe we should annex part of Siberia as a buffer for Alaska?

Pandora's Box is open.........

Thanks Vlad /s
